Scott is originally from the New York/ New Jersey area and currently lives in Bradenton Beach, Florida with his wife Dorothy. The area’s known drummer/ percussionist enjoys a busy performance, recording and teaching schedule. Scott discovered early in his career work with children and adults of all abilities, that his music and improvisation skills could have a powerful impact on health and well being. Drumming and rhythm can have a positive effect on mind and body healing.

I began using hand drums and percussion instruments with a wide variety of children and adults in 1983. I have worked in juvenile justice programs and school districts in New Jersey, New York and Florida. Other settings include alternative schools, private schools, arts camps, museums, libraries, assisted living facilities, memory loss programs and Parkinson’s programs.

I provide individual instruction and facilitate community drumming and drum circle experiences. Specific goals and objectives are outlined for a specific individual or group. Healing through rhythm and sound.
